It has been more than a year since the outbreak of Covid-19. World’s scientists and pharmaceutical companies have been struggling to develop the Covid-19 vaccine. They have succeeded to some extent. The medicine of this novel virus is under trial and even in the UK, it has been given to a patient as treating medicines again virus.

The Covid-19 has led to the dramatic and drastic loss of human life and challenged public health unprecedently. This pandemic has not only adversely affected the business but also lead to unemployment. A report published by the Congressional budget office in May 2020, due to covid-19 the unemployment rate increased from 3.5% in February to 14.7% in April 2020. It represents a decline of more than 25 million people employed and other 8 million individuals were gone out from the labor force. The unemployment rate was also predicted to 9.3 in 2021. In the USA Small businesses are responsible for half of the private sector jobs. The economic impact was more devastating for smaller and newer businesses. Most of the small and new businesses were shut down. The shutdown of these businesses led to a rise in the unemployment rate in the country.

“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”

The coronavirus has many dark sides like an increase in human deaths, unemployment, businesses faced bankruptcy, and many more. But this crisis gave some opportunities. The closure of social activities allows us to spend more time with ourselves and our family.

The other positive side of this virus was the cleaner environment. During the lockdown, the planet earth got time to replenish itself. The restrictions in the movement reduce water and air pollution. There were some other positive impacts of this virus on the environment was too.

With all its positive and negative aspects, we are waiting for the day to hear about the end of Covid-19 from the face of the globe. As the famous radiation and human health expert Steven Magge has said:

“Hang in there, as better times are ahead.”
